The minimum primary score in the current year is 6. This is exactly how much you need to score to get a certificate. You can solve any of the 20 tasks, in any combination.

Statistics on USE grades in basic mathematics over the past three years indicates that an increasing number of graduates are coping with tasks.

About 5% of schoolchildren were unable to overcome the minimum threshold last year.

Profile

For the profile level of the USE in mathematics, the same minimum threshold is set as in the base (6 primary, or 27 test points). They can also be obtained for solving any problems.

About 7.5% of the exam participants did not cope with the minimum required to pass the profile USE in mathematics last year.

The share of graduates who are able to do the USE in profile mathematics is growing every year, and this is encouraging.

Evaluation

On the basic exam in mathematics, 1 point is counted for each correct answer. There is only one assessment criterion – a correct integer or decimal fraction entered in the corresponding field of the answer sheet. If an error is made, the task is set to zero.

The mathematics scores of the USE at the profile level are set in a fundamentally different way. For correct answers to simple tasks, 1 point is awarded, for correctly solved complex ones – from one to four.

In general terms, the system for assessing the USE in mathematics of the profile level looks like this:

For the solution of the first 12 tasks 1 point is counted. Despite the fact that only 8 problems belong to the basic level of difficulty, some of the more difficult questions are also rated at a minimum. Moreover, the criteria for assessing complicated tasks provide for taking into account the opinion of the inspector. The transfer to the 100-point system is done according to the scale developed by FIPI.

The multi-level formula, which is used to calculate the transfer of primary USE scores in mathematics into test ones, will make even those who can easily pass the profile at 100 plus, think hard. So just keep in mind that 6 primary equals a passing 27 test score.
